Niels is partner at demps.
His core areas are integrated financial reporting and modelling tools, restructuring advice and implementation support of restructuring measures, preparation of restructuring expert opinions in accordance with German professional standards (IDW S6), working-capital and cash management, cost optimizations, transaction support (due diligence, post-merger-integration) and advice on comprehensive refinancing projects.
As part of restructuring programs, he has successfully developed and executed exit strategies of non-core activities. Furthermore, he has evaluated, negotiated and implemented joint ventures and strategic partnerships to develop new market segments.
Previous to demps & partner, he served as MD and CFO in medium-sized companies for 12 years. He started his career with an international big4 audit firm. Thereafter he worked for a strategy advisory company.
He holds a diploma in business administration (cath. university of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt) and successfully passed the German tax advisor exam.
